Fiona is Tax and Accounting Advisor with adviceco., specializing in taxation strategies and services for individuals.

Fiona joined adviceco. in 2015, applying her background in analytical work in the banking and legal sector and helping a diverse range of Central Coast individuals to be better off. Her specialties include reconciling Xero; preparing income tax returns containing business schedules, rental schedules, capital gains schedules or dividend schedules; preparing financial reports of profit and loss statements and balance sheets; and preparing subsidiary reports for parent companies listed on Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).

Fiona manages the financial reporting processes of the adviceco. business on top of her client’s work. This requires regular submissions to the Board and adherence to the rigorous standards by adviceco.’s parent company, CountPlus.

Fiona believes accounting should not be a retrospective activity, but an opportunity to look ahead at the untapped opportunity. Past figures are a means of budgeting for future goals. The technology today is better than it has ever been and she is a great support for her clients in this space, drawing on immediate feedback on how they are tracking towards their goals, and finding efficiency to focus on growth activities.

When Fiona is not at work or study, she spends time with her husband and two teenagers. She loves renovating and believes the Central Coast is quite possibly the best place to live and work in the world. And she’d know…she’s traveled quite a bit.
